Who are you and what do you do?
We are recognized as the first official original plein air group in the Northeastern New Jersey
Highlands. We were founded in Ringwood, NJ in 2005. We seek to paint, share in good times and
promote a professional, non-commercial, non-competitive, amicable environment conducive to
creativity and productivity. We primarily paint in the Northeastern New Jersey Highlands region.
Through out the year we connect with other plein air groups in the tri-state area for multi-group paint
out events. Flattering to us, some individuals in our neighboring towns are attempting to follow in our
footsteps.
Can we be added to your e-mail distribution list?
Yes. Just simply email us at info@papnjhighlands.com Please note, your email address will be kept
confidential.
Can I be notified of upcoming plein air outings?
Yes you can. All you need do is request a schedule of our up and coming plein air outings.
Do artists of Plein Air Painters of NJ Highlands offer workshops or outdoor classes?
Yes, some of the artists do. Please check their individual resume pages for information about classes
and workshops.
If I am interested in purchasing a painting from one of the artists, whom do I contact?
Please contact the artist directly. Contact information for each individual artist is posted on their
resume page. All purchasing arrangements are made outside of Plein Air Painters of the New Jersey
Highlands. This site is in no way shape or form an agent for selling artwork. It exclusively hosts
information about painting events and serves to promote the arts in the New Jersey Highlands
communities and beyond.

Yes you can. We can provide you with a show schedule via email or snail mail. You choose the
method by which you want to be notified.
