Welcome to the official online home of Plein Air Painters of the NJ Highlands. PAPNJH is a unique friendly group of artists who meet regularly to paint the gorgeous scenery of the Northeastern NJ Highlands and the surrounding area. PAPNJH was founded in 2005 by  Ringwood NJ Highlands plein air artists, Diana Gibson and William Brown.  We at  PAPNJH are dedicated to preserving the tradition of painting on location and we are proud to state that we are a charter group that has forged to promote and create an  interest in the arts within the communities of the Northeastern NJ Highlands region.  PAPNJH will continue to represent the highest level of standards and professionalism. We welcome you to join us to paint our jewel of the NJ Highlands!  We have the most lovely scenery right here in our home town in Ringwood!
